It’s just you and the music with freewheeler at your fingertips. Go from idea to finished demo in just minutes with this easy to use app.

Power chords, flavorful acoustic chords, and synth organ chords are arranged around wheels in an attractive psychedelic-style interface, to encourage experimentation. Perfect for rock, pop, country, and alternative. Also included is a set of rhythm tracks.

The heart of the app is the efficient pitch wheel that lets you play 12 electric guitar pitches with 6 touch points, using tap or swipe. The different gestures trigger pitches that are a fifth apart, which is pretty cool.

Start with a drum track, and build up a piece in layers, using the multi-track recording tool. Add chords, or improvise a tune using the pitch wheel. The recorder lets you work with three tracks at a time, but by saving work to the library and reloading it, you can add as many layers or sections as you want.

An optional set of unlocks is included. Limiting your resources can lead to unexpected results, and might even break you out of a writer’s block. Each set of unlocks includes four stages; you control when to move to the next.

Once you’ve saved your recording, you can easily export it from the Listen window by clicking on the email button. This will allow you to email yourself the file, or send it to fans and friends. You can resume work on a file you’ve saved at any time by re-loading it.
